The Hyundai Casper Electric Cross is a new rugged version of the small electric crossover, initially launched as the Casper in 2021 and rebranded as the Inster in Europe.

Measuring just 3.6 meters in length, the model adopts a more adventurous look, featuring silver skid plates, black side cladding, 17-inch wheels, and a new matte green paint finish.

The interior retains the large central screen but matches the upholstery with the exterior color and keeps physical buttons for easier operation.

Equipped with a 49 kWh battery, the Cross version offers a range of up to 285 km in local cycle testing and can be recharged from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes. The standard Casper Electric version, with smaller wheels, can reach up to 315 km on a single charge, while the European model (Inster) achieves 370 km under the WLTP standard.

Additionally, the electric motor in the Cross variant is more powerful, delivering 113 hp instead of 95 hp in the standard version, with no changes to the 147 Nm torque.

The Hyundai Casper Electric Cross is already available for purchase in South Korea for around $22,000. Although performance data has not been officially released, a similar model in Europe accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.6 seconds and reaches a top speed of 150 km/h.
